Welcome

Recap of the 2009 Hunting Season

----

Welcome to the online home of Otter Creek Outfitters!  We're pleased you've taken the time to stop by.  We offer mule deer, antelope, wild turkey (Merriams), varmint hunting (coyote and prairie dog), and fly fishing for rainbow and brown trout.

Based in Otter, Montana, Otter Creek Outfitters manage many private leases and permitted areas for trophy animals.  Strict game management is the key to great hunting.

It's not by accident that the Powder River area has long been known for producing large, heavy-horned mule deer. The feed and genetics here are the perfect recipe for massive antler growth.

Jim and Cindy Wilkins have operated Otter Creek Outfitters for 22 years as a family business.  Located in Powder River County in southeastern Montana, we are at the southern end of Custer National Forest.  The forest encompasses about 1.3 million acres, with 345,599 acres that are Designated Wilderness. The Custer National Forest is well known for lake and stream fishing, and provides habitat for mountain goats, big horn sheep, elk, muley and white-tail deer, black bear, cougar, and moose.
