To get to the hunt areas we use four wheel drive vehicles.
Once we get close we then walk. We prefer to hunt slow and quiet,
and do a lot of glassing. It's an asset to be able to walk
long distances, but not absolutely necessary to harvest a good
animal. Your satisfaction is our primary goal. We will provide a
list of references upon request.
Fishing
Jim's unique ability to
provide you with the best possible instruction, flies, and trout
hot-spots, is based on years of experience guiding in this area. You
can be a novice, or a pro, the sure bet is that soon you will be
reeling in some of the finest trout in the world! We are able to
fish The Big Horn River all year. It has excellent hatches
during the summer, and offers great late fall to early spring-time
fishing trips too. Once you have fished the Big Horn River, you will
want to return year after year.
Other outfitters and sports shops have a tendency to send you out
with young or less-experienced guides. With Otter Creek
Outfitters, Jim Wilkins personally takes you out on the Big Horn
River. You will get the best possible service and
directly get the advantage of Jim's many years of guiding
experience.
